New to the 2022-2023 school year, Green Schools Foundation is proud to be a funding sponsor for the district’s PBIS initiative.  

 

PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention and Support) is a tiered system of support for all students. This system allows staff to create and teach expectation that help all students feel successful.  Green Local Schools as adopted three specific  PBIS expectations: Be Safe, Be Kind, Be Responsible. 

 

Through the PBIS program, behavior expectations are taught and acknowledgment of the desired behaviors is recognized. PBIS is nationally recognized as an essential building block to academic success for all students.
